Request that Thunderbird a) restore being able to colour major folders, and b) function to add further sub-folders when moving an email into a folder

a) Thunderbird used to allow colouring major folders. This made a huge difference in finding major folders -- as I have about 50 of them. I would like Thunderbird to restore this function. b) I have a lot of major/primary folders and even more sub-folders (often dates -- 2018, 2019, etc.) This makes it difficult to add further ones (especially sub-folders) -- a lot of scrolling to do so. I would like Thunderbird to have a function where I can add a new sub-folder while moving an email to the primary folder (ex adding 2020). This would save considerable time/energy.

According to the add-on author, a 68-compatible version is in the works:

https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/addon/colored-folders/

This might solve one of my problems -- but there is no clarity as to how to make this add-on -- for coloured folders -- work.

Right-click a folder to access the Colored Folders options.

Right clicking on a folder to use colour option used to work. It doesn't now.

That is how it will work in TB 68 when the version for TB 68 is released. Be patient.
