Network printer is not detected by Firefox, other apps on my desktop do detect the printers
Using a certain Linux distro (NixOS), today I noticed after a long time I haven't printed from Firefox, that I don't see my network printer in the printing dialog.
I've removed and re-added my printers through CUPS' web interface a number of times and I've checked that I can print from the command line (with `lp`) and that I can print a test page from CUPS' web interface. But Firefox doesn't suggest me any printer. It doesn't even suggest me anymore the PDF printer it always had. I've tried both suggestions here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/fix-printing-problems-firefox as well but it didn't help.
I've encountered a similar question in this regard: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1268365 but it's author is using Windows so it's not much relevant to me. I didn't even manage to figure out the solution that the question's author was satisfied with.
I'm pretty sure it's a bug but I'm not confident enough in order to report it in bugzilla. I've also verified that no printer is suggested when using a fresh new profile with no extensions installed at all.
