Will Firefox EVER have a skin equivalent to Walnut 2?
I started using the original Firefox (nee Mozilla in a browser & email package) when it was first publicly available. And have used it in my university classrooms and personally many years. Now, I am looking for an alternative that can give a) the common functions in today's browsers and b) the "skin" add-on Walnut 2. The current Walnut 2 imitations are, simply, just pathetic. So, I pose the question: Will Firefox EVER have a skin equivalent to Walnut 2? A followi-on question: Has the author of Walnut 2 ever been asked to participate in Firefox?

Mozilla severely limited what full themes can do with customizing the Firefox UI quite awhile ago, basically leaving users with light-weight "themes" that only affect the toolbars; the light-weight were originally called Personas.
This shows what "Themes" are now available. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/themes/
Nothing anywhere near the old Walnut 2 full theme of past years; I used it for awhile myself back around Firefox 1.0 or 1.5. Many of the old full themes developers switched to SeaMonkey, which is a continuation of the original Mozilla Suite, basically Firefox with an email client built-in. But full themes have been done away with SeaMonkey, too; albeit long after they disappeared from Firefox.
