Can't "Restart Firefox" - that button doesn't come up in "troubleshooting", only "Try Safe Mode..restart with add-ons disabled"

Can't "Restart Firefox" anymore, because that button no longer appears in the upper right of the troubleshooting screen. It used to and it would allow Firefox to "clear its throat" and operate faster. I don't want to hit the "try safe mode" button because I don't know what that will do and I don't want any of my Firefox settings, especially Bookmarks, disrupted.

I'm not sure if you mean

I don't remember a Restart button on the Troubleshooting Information page.

The Refresh button apparently only appears when Firefox is currently running in what is designated as the default profile. If you started Firefox with a command line that specified a particular profile, that could explain the missing Refresh button. If you want to perform a refresh in a particular profile, you first need to set that as the default. I think you can do that using the Profile Manager. See: Profile Manager - Create, remove or switch Firefox profiles.

The Refresh button only appears when you are using the Default Profile.

You only see this button if you have started Firefox with the profile that is listed as Default=1 in the Profile Manager (profiles.ini).

You can use the restart command via the command line of the Developer Toolbar.
