While composing, typing letter "r" causes entire document to reformat to a small font and skips to the bottom far left of the page to continue the typing after the "r" . In the process the "r" gets left out, does not get typed.

To restore to original, I have to click "undo" twice, which restores everything before the "r" -- this is annoying because it happens randomly and silently so that you may have to recompose several lines if you are not watching the screen.

What is causing this, and is there a remedy? OS is Windows 10 -- not sure if this occurred in Win 7 or not.

Ctrl+R is the shortcut key for Rewrap (See menu Edit in the Compose window). Your Ctrl-key is probably stuck somehow, or your keyboard driver is out of date. Try to clean your keyboard or replace it with another one to see if this solves your problem.
