I can't close thunderbird. The message is "processing account" wait until finished but it doesn't finish.

I can't close or minimize thunderbird or go to any other application. The message is "processing account wait until finished" but it doesn't finish. The only way I can get out is go to task manager and end task.

Start thunderbird in safe mode - https://support.mozilla.org/kb/safe-mode-thunderbird
