Why the bloody hell does firefox URL bar add ".net" to searches - even ones ive NEVER searched before???? Its annoying as hell

I search "starbound" press enter, expecting to land on a google results page. Instead, i land on starbound.net
WHY DOES IT ADD .NET TO THINGS??

Try checking to see if domain guessing suffix is enabled and disable it.

Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox from that domain like bookmarks and history and cookies and passwords and cache and exceptions, so be cautious.
