How can I change the color of what I am typing?
When I write an email, the printing is red. How can I change this to black? It just started after an update three days ago.

"The printing"? The address, or your message text?
If it's the address, it is because Thunderbird can't match the addressee against your Address Book.
Are you trying to insert multiple addressees on one line? Try one per line.
