how to stop Unwanted Folder from reappearing
Every time I open Thunderbird (version 45.7.0), an Unwanted Folder appears with nothing in it. How do I stop this? I have a PC with Windows 10.
Also, Thunderbird and Firefox are slow to open when I click on the icon if that helps.

What is the 'unwanted' folder's name?
Is this unwanted folder in an imap mail account? If yes, then it is likely to be a folder on the server which you have subscribed to see. Right click on the imap mail account name in the Folder Pane and select 'Subscribe'. This shows you a list. You can unsubscribe from seeing that 'unwanted' folder.

Thank you for your quick response. I went to the Subscribe section, but Unwanted was not listed. I do have an IMAP account with Charter, but this Unwanted folder appeared after, not when, I switched to Charter.
