when I go to firefox google start page I receive URL error 404 notice
Past 3 days when I click on firefox icon which has always taken me to the google start page, I now receive ".404 that's an error, the requested URL/firefox was not found on this server. That's all we know." To my knowledge neither my husband or I have accidentally done anything that would change the way this has always worked for us. Please, advise. Thank you.

What URL appears in the location bar at the very top of the Firefox window when this happens? It sounds like your homepage setting might be pointing at an old page.
A 404 error means the page requested is not available / does not exist.
Go to the site's main page, and work your way to the page you want. Once you get there, create a new bookmark / home page.
