after getting bookmarks from IE can I move them to fiirefox and not use the options that show the old ie bookmarks

Sure, you can use the "Library" dialog to reorganize the bookmarks menu, which you can open using either:
- Ctrl+Shift+b
- "Open All Bookmarks"
On the left side, expand the Bookmarks Menu so you can see the imported bookmarks folder, then click that folder to display its contents on the right. You can select everything and drag to the Bookmarks Menu folder on the left, or cut and paste also could work.
