I have looked a some solutions from the TB answer but the pages they refer you to DO NOT EXIST. All I want to do is change my password without any MASTER PASSWORD

After changing your Gmail password reset the old password Thunderbird has remembered. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Setting_and_changing_email_passwords
