Why are my e-mails being deleted? I am using Windows 8.1..Please help!
I am using Windows 8.1 on my desktop. I did enable forwarding to my GMail account because I was having issues at first getting e-mail on my Android...all of my e-mails delete from the server...the whole thing is a mess. In addition, I recently forwarded an e-mail but the attachments did not forward. Is there something we need to know in order to forward an entire e-mail including attachments?
Thanks

How exactly? How is that related to Thunderbird? Did you receive any of the forwarded messages in your Gmail account at all?
All of the e-mail in the Thunderbird account is being deleted!..Why? How do I stop that from happening...it is a complete mess. I received some messages to GMail but did not think Thunderbird would delete. Now if I want to reply to any messages my Gmail address is the only place I can reply from.

There is no such thing as a Thunderbird account. You do have an account with your email provider. Thunderbird is an email client, and you use it to access the account you have with your provider.
Since you haven't explained how you forward messages to your Gmail account, I still fail to see how this is related to Thunderbird in the first place.
Well..Thunderbird is deleting the e-mail...short and simple so that I can not view it anymore. When I looked online for answers there were plenty of people with the same issue..just Google it...but no real answers
You need to start explaining things clearly.
Does your gmail account automatically receive emails forwarded from another email address ?
You have created a mail account in Thunderbird. Is this the gmail email address account which also includes emails from a non gmail email address?
Is the gmail account, an IMAP mail account? If yes, then it will display whatever is on the server. They are in effect the same folders.
You mention accessing mail using an Android phone...is it using IMAP as well ? Because if it is using POP, then it may well be downloading and deleting emails off the server (standard practise for pop accounts - unless specifically set the option to keep mesessages on server), which of course will then remove it from Thunderbird's gmail imap account.
