Currently Whatspp not available for Firefox OS. But there are some application available as a Whatsapp alternative(which using Whatsapp API's) in Marketplace.

I know that there is an official whatsapp app. But it is only for Firefox OS 2.5 and more. It seems that they have not released it yet even if the release date was november 2nd. You can find informations here: http://firefoxoscentral.com/2015/11/whatsapp-reaches-firefox-os/

I have some more informations, the official whatsapp app is avaible on FirefoxOS but only for a few devices. Not really helpfull, but it is interesting to know it.

When is it releasing

In the marketplace appears the message "the content is not public" (or similar) when you open the link for Whatsapp. So, it is not available.

It seems to be available only for zte open c running ffos 2.5 so wait and see
