Why do you keep blocking HP SimplePass?

more options

I have tried everything. I have even tried downloading the file straight from the HP website and "installing it from the file" in Firefox just like the forum said to do and still the Firefox download manager says It "could not install it because the file is corrupt." My Norton software scans everything I try to install and the comes up clean with them every time! It worked fine in the previous version of Firefox. This new update is horrible blocking so much stuff and crashing all of the time. Repeatedly "not responding" no matter what I am doing.

A corrupt file is not as a result of Firefox blocking the file for security reasons. Corrupt files can be caused by many other issues and are simply a file that was incorrectly saved while be transferred.

This issue may be caused by an installed addon conflicting with Firefox. To see if this is the case, please see if the issue continues while Firefox is in safe mode. For more information on the Firefox safe mode, please view the Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode article from the Mozilla Support website.
