can't import contacts or use address book
I've installed Thunderbird for a relatively new computer user and can't get auto completion of any of the addresses in the address book. He has 3 address books: personal, collected and the imported addresses from Outlook Express. How can I get Thunderbird to auto complete the addresses in his imported addresses?

From the Menu Bar select Tools-Options-Composition-Addressing and make sure it is turned on.
No menu bar? Press the alt key.

I'm running Thunderbird 38.0.1, and this doesn't apply at all.
Care to say why?
I'm running Thunderbird 38.0.1, and I can't import contact list via csv file. the error message suggest that the csv file is somehow "incomplete" (direct translate from Chinese) so the import process fail. I never had any problem to import csv file ever before 38.0.1, is there anyone know how to fix this? thank you very much!
