Navigation on the Harley-Davidson website is problematic with. for example, the following pages:

http://www.harley-davidson.com/en_GB/Motorcycles/breakout.html#!gallery http://www.harley-davidson.com/en_GB/Motorcycles/breakout.html#!three-sixty

You should be able to navigate images on the first example and have a 360 degree view on the second page with selectable areas for more information.

I can navigate fine with IE 11 or Chrome (and Firefox on an Android tablet). I've tried re-setting and uninstalling Firefox bit no luck. Anti-virus is BitDefender 2015.

Sounds that you are blocking JavaScript somehow if these features do not work.

If this isn't a problem with Firefox then your security software might be causing this.

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:

You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
  • Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)

Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.

Cool site -- in Windows 7.

Does your computer have a touchscreen? If so:

Can you tap the 360 icon to enable it and then drag the image to rotate it?

Occasionally with touchscreen displays some functions in a page that normally respond to the mouse respond to touch exclusively. I'm not sure what causes that, but you can disable Firefox from telling the site you have a touchscreen and see whether that helps.

Here are some past threads about this:

Thanks cor-el and jscher2000 for the detailed replies. I was already set with touchscreen disabled. I tried the reloading and clearing cache and cookies but with no success. I then did Ctrl-Shift-j and cleared the contents of the console, closed FF, opened FF and re-loaded the page - guess what, functionality restored to the pages. A result!

After finding many problems with Chrome I was keen to get a stable alternative, especially as FF passes the Peacekeeper test with flying colours. It's a pity though that FF seems poor on Penguin only getting 218 compared to 13,520 for IE11.
