How do I login to my old (pre 2010) Mozilla Support account?

I have asked similar questions before - but do not recall the explanation given.

I had a Mozilla Support account going back to about 2007 or maybe even earlier.

One day I was simply unable to login even though I used the lost password facility.

I started a new account - this one - but always wondered about the earlier one.

Just now, by chance I noticed the password for my original support account is still stored in the "options box" and so I tried to use it again - -unsuccessfully - in going through the lost password process - I saw some words flash up about problems relating to accounts older than 2010.

Has a way to login to those old accounts been established, please, and if so How do I go about doing it as well.

The messaged displayed is the following: Warning: Accounts created before December 2010 may have issues logging in. Please reset your password below.

Have you tried to reset your password? Do you still have access to the email account associated with the Mozilla Support account.

Do you know what your older account username was?

With the above information, please start a new thread here with reference to this support ticket /questions/1021372 and an we'll do our best in part with the administrators to get back your old account back.

I have had two previous accounts that I keep going in circles to try to get back, but to no avail. This is my third account in as many years. When I try to use the lost password and lost username tools I do not get an email in any account from Mozilla. It says "email sent" but nothing ever arrives. yes, I check my spam and junk folders. Nothing. Where have my accounts gone and why won't Mozilla send me the email to reset them?
