"get mail" progress indicator?
When I tell TB to get the mail, nothing happens. I need to know a verbose log of the connection attempt.
And at least have a nice box popup telling me that downloading is in progress.
Can't connect with Eudora, TB, or even Mac Apple Mail to the "new" pop.verizon.net serverUsing the correct setup too.

OK I figured out the problem As usual, it is Verizon being stupid.
After spending several hours at various times on the phone with tech reps, who only could walk me thru the same script to setup the email progams...
Verizon provided me with a Westell 6100 DSL Modem. This unit has a FIREWALL -- and when Verizon switched to using Port 995 and 465 for email, they forgot to UPDATE THE FRIGGING DSL MODEM FIREWALL SCRIPT TO PASS THE NEW PORTS.
