firefox opens a blank pink screen nothing else, how can I fix this?
When I open my firefox browser all I get is a blank pink screen and nothing else. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it several times and nothing works. What can I do to fix it?

Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.
You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:
- Microsoft Safety Scanner
- MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware
- TDSSKiller - AntiRootkit Utility
- Hitman Pro
- ESET Online Scanner
Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.

You can check the default colors.
- Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Colors :
- [X] "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above"
It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.
