I have changed Thunderbird E-mail account from IMAP to POP3. My question is, How do I get all my E-mail folders from the IMAP into the new POP3 account. Nothing followed the changed accounts formats.

I used to click the incoming Email and a box was highlighted for Reply? I have no desire to move from Windows 10. Why make it annoyingly difficult for older users?

Hi, I'm using Version 140.12.1e (64b). Is there any way to block and delete undesirable E-Mails om my Incoming box ? Even while being marked 'Undesirable', they stil coming again. Is there a way to erase them automatically ? Many thanks, Have a good day, Dan

Some Fonts in different Thunderbird 'panes' are unreadable without zooming in. The {body} of a reply is very small (see font-size-body--Rev3-07-19-2026_01.jpg below) The image will show the cursor at top left of Body.

I did search here but nothing of this nature it. So here is my question:

QUESTION: Is there a way to edit a config file or the likes to set fonts to be responsive (like a web site is same in any size screen and compensates for size?

In sending a new email, when I go to enter the "TO," various email choices pop-up - but not all are correct. How can I add and/or correct those popup choices?

BTW, I have a screenshot. How do I get it here?

Changed our broadband provider on Friday from PlusNet to EE and, since then, have been unable to reply to emails on my Thunderbird Mozilla account. I am still receiving them but when I attempt to reply I get the message:

"Sending of the message failed.

An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: <X@dolhun.co.uk> recipient rejected - relay denied. Please check the message recipient "X@dolhun.co.uk" and try again."

Can anyone offer any help please? I am not very computer savvy unfortunately 'Regarding the question below which I have answered 149.0, to be honest I don't know which Thunderbird version I have but I had to fill in something!!

Within the past day or so, which means 7-18-26 or later, some of my email messages on thunderbird for my pc have a "From" description that is not correct. I look at the messages, and the "From" is entirely different than the "From" description when looking at the email message list. I have never encountered this problem before. I'm using thunderbird 152.0.1 64-bit on my pc.

I'm trying to move from Windows to Linux without downloading all my imap messages again. What I've tried: 1. Install tbird on Linux, create new profile. 2. Close tbird. 3. Using Linux file manager,

 - delete contents of new profile folder
 - copy contents of old profile folder into new folder
 - delete Compatibility.ini in the copy

4. Open tbird with -p (profile manager)

I've tried twice with different results. The first time at step 4 I started offline. Thunderbird opened will all my previous tabs open, except that all the internet tabs reported connection failure - as expected. Under account settings, both local folders and my gmail account reported the correct (new, linux) path. When I went online and completed the gmail OAuth dialog thunderbird reported an inbox summary folder error, and deleted all the imap mbox files. I closed and restarted tbird- which failed with a crash dump. the terminal window reported successful minidump creation- the file manager showed the minidump file at zero size.

I repeated the process (recreating the original unmodified profile). This time at step 4 I started online, and tbird never opened- it generated the crash dump immediately.

Two questions: 1. Is it possible to transfer an imap profile and avoid re-downloading all the old messages? 2. What am I doing wrong that I'm getting the crash dumps?

It was working fine on the new computer until yesterday. Now I get a pop-up box that says: ' Unable to connect The connection was refused when attempting to contact localhost.

I successfully linked / synced the thunderbird calendar with the iCloud calendar. Calendar entries manually entered in iCloud or iPhone calendar are successfully synced and are visible in the thunderbird mail. The other way round, syncing the existing entries in the Thunderbird calendar does not work. They do not appear in the iCloud or iPhone calendar. Searching the internet, the specific Thunderbird or Apple help-sites did not provide an obvious solution for this problem. I went through all (or nearly all) recommendations given by Apple, no success to sync from Thunderbird to iCloud.

Any suggestion what to modify or adjust

win10/tbird v140.12.1.esr wont d/l from yahoo. logon appears ok but the d/l bar starts & then just times out. This just started 3-4 days ago. gmail & fastmail ok.

Someone hacked my thunderbird account and I can't get to it. How can I find the password that is now associate with it? I was told the provider has to do that, but Spectrum can't do it. I tried independent software, but the password it recovered is an old one and it doesn't work. It doesn't show up in the list of saved passwords.

I get hundreds of emails a day, so setting an alert for incoming mail is not practical. Is there any way to set an alert for specific senders whose emails need to be res[ponded to promptly? I am not at the computer all the time.

This will make more sense if you look at the attached images first. If I create two one-hour appointments back to back on the same day--meaning the first appointment ends at the same time the next one begins (or with a 1 min gap), and then I look at my calendar in Week view, I'll see 2 full-column 1-hour blocks stacked one above the other as in the "1hr appt.png" attached. This appears to be the correct way it should appear.

But if the earlier appointment is only 30 minutes, they appear differently, as in the other image "30min appt.png". squeezed into two columns. I would like them to appear as a single, full column (as with the 1 hour appointments), which it does in the Day view.

Is this a bug? Can I change this behavior?
