Sync is not working at all, nothing has synced and all my data is missing, passwords and bookmarks....
Everything is gone, I have had to reinstall windows 4 times in the last week with a new PC and now all my sync data is gone...Chrome remembers everything fine and Mozilla did remember everything until this install and now its not syncing anything.
If this stuff is gone so am I.
Have tried logging in with my google account, tried logging in with Moz account, tried sync button over and over tried restarting, tried uninstalling and reinstalling and manually deleting all the folders STILL NO SYNC DATA AT ALL.......

I copied over my old profile folder from my previous windows install cut the "profiles" your dumb ass browser decided to make instead of using my old one despite me logging into STRAIGHT AWAY.
I have NEVER EVER CREATED ANOTHER PROFILE I HAVE ONLY EVER HAD ONE PROFILE, WHY DID THIS INSTALL DECIDE TO MAKE A NEW PROFILE AND DISCONNECT MY OLD ONE??????????
3 HOURS HAVING TO FIX THIS.......

Thank you for your question about the Firefox Sync service.
It appears from your question, that you are using Firefox Sync as a back up service. This is not what Sync is designed to do. The Firefox Sync service takes a copy of the data you wish to include and transfers it to a second device (typically a mobile device such as a tablet or a telephone) running a copy of Firefox. The storage in between all attached devices is both temporary and fragile and is not stable enough to be (and is not designed as) a reliable backup service.
If you have a copy of your Firefox profile for desktop Firefox, you may be able to recover your bookmarks and other data. Please have a read of this article.
If you have a copy of your data on a mobile version of Firefox, please follow these instructions to connect it to Firefox Sync to copy your data.
That sounds really frustrating. Sometimes sync issues happen if the account isn’t fully connected or if the data was never backed up to the server. It might help to check your Firefox account settings and see if the data is still listed there.
