I am signed into firefox on the same account on 2 computers, the new bookmarks on one device aren;t showing up on the other. This is a new problem, syncing always solved it before

I am logged into the same Firefox account on both my phone and desktop.

Sync is enabled and bookmarks are ticked.

My desktop bookmarks do not show up in my phones bookmarks, and nothing I bookmark on my phone shows up in my desktop bookmarks.

I remember there used to be a mobile bookmarks folder where these were stored, but that has disappeared from both my phone and desktop bookmark manager.

I have a lot of open tabs on my phone which I need to bookmark and organise, so I can't reinstall to test if that fixes it without losing them all.

I can see my phones open tabs on desktop through synced open tabs, so I'm definitely connected to the right account and clearly some stuff is syncing, just not bookmarks.

I have many computers that I put Firefox on, and had no problem getting my bookmarks on them as long as I sign in to my account. However, I just had my desktop redone (that previously had Firefox) and now, after I have downloaded Firefox, I cant get my bookmarks when I attempt to do the syncing. Please help

I cannot log into my account and synchronize my data, logins and passwords. I downloaded the latest version of the browser on the official website. Below I will send screenshots proving that there are no buttons or anything that would indicate at least the slightest login to your account. BUT YOU'RE SHOVING YOUR ****** AI BOT EVERYWHERE.

I changed the password of my Firefox account recently, which logged me out of my Firefox iOS app. When I'm prompted to scan the QR code to re-establish the pairing, nothing happens. When I choose to use email instead, I get "unexpected error". This happens every time I try to re-pair. Please help me sign in to Firefox iOS.

I'm logged into Firefox account and have everything synced. I've logged multi-account containers (MAC) into my Firefox to try and sync accounts. However, the containers are not syncing AND I now cannot send tabs to or from this instance of Firefox.

This started either after I refreshed Firefox or after I reinstalled it, I'm not sure which. Before Refresh I definitely had full sync, and I believe containers were synced but I had not changed anything in MAC for a long time, many months maybe years.

To try and fix this, I logged out of my Firefox account for both MAC and the whole browser, then closed Firefox. I then restarted Firefox, logged into my Firefox account and tested that I could send and receive tabs - I could, so that worked. I then logged into my Firefox account with MAC and tried to send a tab, and I couldn't, and nor did the containers sync. So, it seems that the MAC addon breaks sync.

A workaround is just to not depend on containers sync, but I'd prefer to get this back.

Any suggestions on how to fix this, or is this a bug in Firefox or MAC?

Hi ich habe versucht, die einstellungen zum einem fehlgeschlagenen login mit hilfe von chaptjpt zu verbessern. habe dadurch mein konto verändert. mein password neu erstellt und wiederherstellungsschlüssel ist nich korrekt. auf dem iphone ist alles drauf aber mit dem sekundären email adresse und das password ist auch weg wie kann ich die einstellungen lesezeichen auf den firefox im rechner übertragen?

Whenever i send a Tab from any Device to a Linux Desktop, the Linux Desktop is almost guaranteed to freeze. It doesn’t matter if that Linux Desktop is my "Dingus" PC with 2GB RAM and Wayland, or my "Workstation" PC with 16GB RAM and X11. On both Desktops, Firefox runs smoothly until it gets sent a Tab from another Device, then the whole Linux Desktop freezes. The Desktop doesn’t slow if i open the Tab on the Desktop in the “Tabs from other Devices” Sidebar instead.

Only my Linux Desktops freeze when they get sent a Tab from another Device. Android doesn’t slow when my Phone gets sent a Tab from another Device.

I’ve been experiencing synchronization issues with Firefox lately.

Current situation: Tabs sync correctly between devices, but bookmarks and passwords no longer sync between my iPhone and my computer.

I’ve also considered an issue with profiles, I currently have three Firefox profiles:

• default-release (currently in use)
• default
• default-release-1

I also used Firefox Troubleshoot Mode (restart with add-ons disabled) to test the issue.

sync-log : The sync-logs show many success-sync entries and only a couple of error-syncs. There are no obvious connection issues (I’m using a shared connection in a rural area). However, bookmarks and passwords are still not syncing properly across devices.

Observed behavior: Sync is active and "functional" Only specific data types (bookmarks and passwords) are affected The issue persists even after signing out and back into Sync, and restarting Firefox on both devices

Checks already done: Sync is enabled for bookmarks and passwords Sync logs mostly show successful operations rather than errors

Hypothesis: A Firefox profile conflict

Question: How can I restore Sync properly without losing my bookmarks, passwords, or other data?

During the last desktop update I lost all of my bookmarks. I’ve tried to sync between my iPhone and desktop but when I finally got paired nothing happened with the sync from my phone to desktop

Able to sign in to Mozilla account, but cannot find Sync anywhere. Sync is OK on multiple other devices. System also seems unable to load 140.10 esr. Is it possible to sync on esr versions?

i have deleted Firefox and reinstalled it. after logging in with my account i don't seem to have any details with the browser. it is fresh like new. i have tried syncing it but it is still blank as possible

I am trying to sync FF to a new pc laptop from my old pc laptop. I am signed into FF on both devices, but they won't auto sync, even when the (orignal) says that it is. My old laptop is still running on Windows 10. Could this be the reason? If not, please advise how this can be accomplished.

I have issues with firefox sync as it doesn't sync old search history. Firefox Sync works perfectly for recent search history and chronic, but I imported an old profile (xyz.default) to firefox and logged in with my mozilla account. Started synching so that the old profile's history gets merged with the current one. It doesn't. I can see it in the imported old profile, but if I check history on another device, it's not there (aka only locally but not synced yet).

Is it generally possible to add an existing profile and then syncing it to merge it with the current search history one?

Three times now this year, I have been automatically signed out of my Firefox account on desktop with no cause. No updates or data clearing to cause it. Every time when I log back in despite having my Firefox synced to my mobile app, my bookmarks & passwords all break. Passwords deleted, bookmarks dysfunctional. I try syncing to restore them. Doesn't work. If I restore from backup, it fixes my bookmarks, but not my passwords.

After the second event like this, I changed my Mozilla password, but seeing as this just occurred a third time this year, that didn't stop it. I reiterate: I DID NOT SIGN MYSELF OUT. I DIDN'T DO DEVICE MAINTENANCE THAT WOULD HAVE SIGNED ME OUT. Sync SHOULD restore these but isn't.
