some sites are always in the dark theme

I have been using Firefox for years and never encountered this problem. I changed the theme to dark but it made some websites unreadable, so I changed it back. The problem is some websites did not register the change. I cannot use these websites anymore with your browser, and I would prefer to stay with Firefox. What can I do? I have changed the system settings and Firefox settings. Nothing has helped. I have gone through your troubleshooting advice and googled various topics to figure this out. Nothing. It is frustrating, especially when one of the broken sites is my work portal. This cannot continue, so I will be forced to change browsers. I use both Mac and Windows computers if that helps. It is the same on both.

Does it still happen in Troubleshoot Mode?

Thank you for the reply. Most sites were ok in troubleshooting mode. So far the only one I can see that is still dark is YouTube.
Are you sure that it is not set in site's setting?

Hi Thank you for trying to help me. I am going to solve the problem by changing to Opera. To be honest, I am too old and busy to deal with these little problems. YouTube was only one example. I simply cannot be arsed to look through every site and check the settings. It is easier to change browsers.

That indicates it is caused by your extensions, try disabling them. In the case of Youtube, you can clear site cookies.
Make sure you allow pages to choose their own colors and that the default colors are dark text on light background as some websites only set one of them and assume that the other color is default..

I appreciate your help but the matter is finished. I had already tried your suggestions and nothing worked. I have reset every function in Firefox and my system. I am not doing it again. I am going to switch to Opera.
