Recently visited websites being added as shortcuts
Websites I visit are automatically added as shortcuts on my home page. Is there a way to disable this so that the only shortcuts are the ones I pin myself?

The only way to prevent this is to pin a page to each of the eight possible tiles in a row.
In the future could there be an option to disable recently visited websites being added as shortcuts?
If you select the Personalise new tab button on a new tab page, and then uncheck Recent activity, does that help? Or maybe if you just unchecked Visited Pages?
(You may need to select Manage more settings to see some of these options)
