I changed my desktop wallpaper, and suddenly, my FF background turned orange. Everything is still set to default. How do I change it back?

Firefox 22? May you please check for a update, maybe update to Firefox 24 and see if it works there.

You can check the default colors.

Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own colors.

  • Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Colors
  • "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above"

Try to disable transparency in Windows.
Right click in a free space on your desktop.
Left click on Personalization.
There are four options at the bottom of the screen, choose "Window Color and Appearance".
Select a border color
Uncheck: "Enable transparency"
