I currently go to a website to request a report which is generated as an Excel file. It still works in IE and use to work in firefox, but when I upgraded my firefox to version 7.0.1 nothing happens when click the button to generate the report.

Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Thank you for your quick response, but this did not fix my problem. I was already in the default theme. I disabled all my extensions and restarted Firefox, but the report still does not start a download.
