When trying to update to new firefox, because the old firefox started blocking some sites, the process erased all bookmarks, history, etc. Still waiting for help!!!
The past few days the Firefox beta that was loaded started to block various sites. Everything from banking to newsletters. I tried to get your help but have received NO reply!! I removed the Firefox I was using and downloaded the latest Firefox for. MAC. Totally new page with no history, bookmarks, passwords, etc. were on the new Firefox. My Safari sites works normally as does Google Chrome.

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
Thanx for trying, the link you sent me will not open.
Try the link again, it works for me at present. The Mozillazine site often seems to have problems with its servers being busy
