64 & 32 bit versions appearing on pc
I've noticed that I've got both the 32 bit (../Program Files (86)/..) and 64 bit versions (../Program Files/..) of Firefox installed on my pc. I didn't install both and both appear to be the current version. Is this normal behaviour? Only one instance appears in add/remove programs, but if I go to default apps, Firefox appears twice (presumably the 32 & 64 bit versions). If this is not normal, does anyone have a suggestion as to how to remove the 32 bit version without damaging the 64 bit one?

Thanks. That worked .. sort of. It removed some of the 32 but files, but left 642 files and two subfolders behind which I manually deleted.

I see two occurrences of Firefox in the default apps settings, so I don't think that's related.
There should be a folder for the Mozilla Maintenance Service in the Program Files (x86) directory, but I don't have a Firefox or Mozilla folder located there on my 64-bit install. If you do, you may be able to uninstall it by running C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\uninstall\helper.exe.
