This autoreresh of tabs when simply switching to another app to get or copy a name, or pin, or whatever needs to be entered into a Firefix tab has gotten completely destructive to almost all online purchases and other online tasks. The tabs refresh every time, losing the current progress of the order or action. Firefox has become a non-working burden.

Goodbye Firefox. After all these years you're forcing me to change to a browser which I always avoided. But Chrome allowed me to book my flight and rental car without issues or interruptions, which fails every time with Firefox because the tab refreshes and loses all progress.

Just so folks don't waste time trying all kinds of settings that don't help anyway:

In Xiaomi HyperOS, locking Firefox does NOT help. Firefox was also granted "No restrictions" in the app's battery settings, which also does not stop the constant reloading of tabs. Furthermore, this happens consistently during the payment progress in online purchases where the page has no ads or its own interruptions. With Chrome all this does not happen, it is not locked, and its battery setting is even set to "Battery saver".
