
Can't download email into Thunderbird
I suddenly cannot receive emails in Thunderbird. It gives me an error message "Login to server imap.mail.att.net with username jonnak@ameritech.net failed. My password has not changed and I can log into my email directly on the web. I tried clicking on "enter a new password" and used my one I log into my email directly, but I still get an error.

Did you use the mailkey you generated on the ATT web site to access your mail instead of your password. It has been a requirement for ATT mail, imposed by Yahoo, for about 10 years now. https://www.att.com/support/article/email-support/KM1240308/
