Downloading updates from Intel.com
Trying to download updates from Intel.com and as soon as I click the download button, Firefox just locks up and won't allow me to do anything. I have to basically shut down firfox through task manager to get the browser to work again. I have 139.04 which is the latest update for Firefox
A message to Mozilla if this is a bug how about fixing the problems that some people are having instead of consintration on implementing AI into Firefox as I want a browser that doesn't and isn't link to AI as many other people do as well as some if not most of us are sick to ther back teeth with everything having AI installed with in the programs.

Hello,
Downloading from that website works fine for me. When did the problem arise? Does it happen on other websites?
Please try running Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode. Does it help?
And just a note: AI integration is a must-have feature of any modern browser, whether you personally use it or not.
It has started with a few sites where if I try and download updates from Intel.com and Acer.com the page just locks up. Firefox has also locked up a few times when using Twitch.com and YouTube.com when I have been watching streams as well. The only way I could get Firefox to work again was to force close it using Task Manager and ending the task. The version I am using is 139.0.4 and I have even tried to do a full install of Windows 11 24h2 and download a full version of Firefox 139.0.4 as well and it is still having the same issues that I am having now.
I have tried the troubleshoot mode as well and the same issue as above just will not download any updates from Acer.com or Intel.com
For Intel, have tried using their app for updates? I've been using it for years. https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/detect.html If Windows Pro version, try testing in Windows Sandbox (VM) to see if you have the same issue. https://www.howtogeek.com/399290/how-to-use-windows-10s-new-sandbox-to-safely-test-apps/
Are you running any security software besides MS Defender? I just tried to download something from Intel and after clicking the download button, nothing happened. After pausing Ghostery I was able to download. see screenshot
All I am using Windows Security. i have not had any other problems with Firefox just downloading the files before. With Acer.com have included an image of what I get hen I try and get on the website through firefox and if I try another browser like Chrome it will allow me to download the files I want from intel.conm and display Acer.com's website without any problems. I prefer to use Firefox, but if problems like this are happening then I think it may be time to change to a different browser.

I have also noticed that as soon as I click on the download button nothing will download and then Firefox just locks up on that page and I can do nothing expect using task manager to get out of Firefox to get the browser to work again.
