Hello,

I am writing this question concerning the new Thunderbird notification I received recently, prompting me to update to the Release Channel. Since I installed the client from the Microsoft Store, will it get automatically updated to the previous channel or will I have to do it manually? If I am not mistaken, to move between channels you need to do it yourself. How will this work with the Store version?

Thank you for your time.

Sorry, there is not yet a release channel version available on the store. There will be at some point in the future, but the timing has not yet been determined.

So I just noticed the app has been renamed to Extended Support Release in the Store:

This is in preparation for adding a new Thunderbird app based on monthly releases.
