Hello Gidi,

I had the exact same problem (for Hebrew) and someone pointed to this extension: BiDi Mail UI ("BiDi" for bidirectional). I installed it, and it works perfectly for me.

See the screen shot: the extension adds two buttons - a paragraph sign with an arrow pointing to either direction. I selected the right-to-left one (it's highlighted in blue) and it worked.
