I have used the LastPass extension to manage passwords in Firefox for ~5 months. Yesterday, clicking on the icon brought up only a tiny, empty dropdown box instead of the usual vault access. When I tried to open LasPass through a different route, Firefox told me that the extension wasn't installed--but it was visible in the extension manager. I toggled it off and on again, which forcibly logged me out of LastPass.

LastPass relies on the browser to store AND recover the password, so I am effectively blocked out of all my password-protected sites.

Has anyone else had this issue? Any suggestions on how to fix it?

By right clicking on the LastPass icon and then clicking on manage extension a window will open. Once there toggle the extension on/off and it starts working again. Not the real solution but at least a band-aid until the issue is resolved.
