I don't get the save password prompt anymore for example.com, I have saved around 5 or more passwords for that. Though, I am getting the prompt for other websites but not for example.com. Is there a limit on the number of apsswords a user can save agaisnt a website?

There's no any limit.

You can check in the Browser Console, if there any error shows up after hitting the login button.

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I accept the risk!" to continue.
