Why does Thunderbird ask me for a password multiple times when starting up?
When ever I start TB it asks for my master password for each account that is there. So when TB starts up I have 8 or so password windows open, all asking for my master PW. I can enter it in the first one then close the others with the x, but it is annoying, and sometimes the accounts won't work unless I enter the PW in each window. I think the desired behavour is to enter the Master password once.

It's a bug. As a workaround you can install this add-on. https://addons.mozilla.org/thunderbird/addon/startupmaster/
