Refreshed Firefox recently. Still SLOW and "not responding." Restarted several times.

Firefox is slow, even after refresh. It is slower with Yahoo email than with other Web pages. I do not use many of the plugins that are listed (such as those related to "Netscape"). No, the problem occurs generally on most websites but is worse in Yahoo email. And, no, I haven't tried to reinstall the browser. Oddly, the problem is much worse when I first open the browser than after I have been using it for a while.
