mail washer receives mail, but it doesn't get to Thunderbird?

I use Mail washer for all incoming Mail after sorting what is good, I send it to Thunderbird, it opens normally and seems to be trying to get the Mail, works for an eternity, but doesn't succeed to download, think I might have deleted an important file on a recent clean up. If I reload Thunderbird from scratch, will I loose all my addresses and Mails, or is there a way to reload just the working code?
