I did not have this problem with the previous version of Firefox. I see this has been reported way back to version 3. If it was fixed it was broken again when version 15 rolled out. I am using Windows 7 home premium.

This can be a problem with DDE.

Try to undo and redo Firefox as the default browser.

Make another browser like IE the default browser and then let Firefox do it again.

Thanks, I did as you suggested and when I was finished and had made Firefox the default again it worked right.
