I have recently started using Fire Fox as my web browser. Prior to this I was using explorer. Since converting to Fire fox the email spell checker in hotmail no longer works. I have been told that I may need to down load a spell checker from the browser.

If Hotmail has its' own spellcheck feature, it may not be turned on for browsers other than IE. You probably need to use the one that is built into Firefox.

The en-GB versions of Firefox don't come with a spell check dictionary (licensing issues, supposedly), you need to install a dictionary.
