The email system (share page tool) no longer functions properly since the last update

  • Since the last update the "File" menu choice disappeared. I used to use this to share (email) web pages.
  • I restored the "File" toolbar eventually and can share with that again. However...
  • The right-click menu on the tab Share selection does not work (it shows a list of email apps but does not include mine)
  • My default choice (mailto) is properly set up in the Settings (in both Mozilla and Windows) so something is broken in Firefox.
  • Adding the Share tool to the toolbar gives the same wrong result... shows a list of programs but does not include the default
