Are Thunderbird Updates Cumulative?
I always install Thunderbird updates that include security fixes, but occasionally defer/refuse updates that don't seem applicable to my install. If I wait until the next update, will the missed update also be installed (ie, cumulative or rollup)? I quickly looked through FAQs and developers site but nothing jumped out. I currently have v140.0 installed. Thanks.

To answer your question: It's OK to miss an update, you will always get the "newest official version" when you run your next update (even if you missed one along the way).
Better answer: It's always a good idea to keep your software up to date.

Thanks ThundaMike. Just to confirm: The "newest official version" includes all previous updates plus the current one (cumulative), not just the current one (incremental), yes?
