I've recently had my pc worked on and the hard drive was changed. Now, I've lost my thunderbird emails. I can't seem to sign in using my (what I thought was my) password. Over time, I've never had to use my password. I tried to change, but I keeps saying my email address isn't recognized. So, I started again to ask for help.. stuck in the fast lane, thank you

That feedback is coming from your email provider. I suggest contacting them for the password to then give to Thunderbird.
