Firefox does not always display all the add-on icons on the URL bar
This started happening in a version of 55 so I waited for it to be resolved as it was not a major problem. Now in 56 it is still happening. Some of the icons that are displayed on the URL bar do not display unless I reload Firefox. At times I have had to reload Firefox 2 or 3 times to get them all to display. I first noticed this when the AdBlock Plus icon failed to display. Sometimes only the first 3 or 4 or 5 icons display, other times all but 1 display. It is hit and miss. Here are 2 screenshots from this morning. Note that the icon for Nimbus Screenshot did not display until I reloaded Firefox.
This is not a major problem, just a really annoying one.

First, those in your screenshots appear to be addon buttons and not bookmark buttons. I may be wrong. But if I am right those addons are working in 'Legacy' mode. Take a look at the addon page with the list of all your installed addons and see if the yellow label 'LEGACY' is displayed next to their name. If that's the case, to make them work you need the ESR version of Firefox because your addons are no longer fully supported. Keep in mind that this version will not be updated as often as the normal version and will only have the most important bugs fixed. Link below :

You're right they are add-on icons. It is never a good idea to post for help when you are over tired! Thanks for pointing it out. My bad, edited the topic header and my first post. Grrrrr.
Only the NoScript add-on is legacy and is still working perfectly, it will be upgraded to WE before 57 lands. The others are either part of Firefox (I didn't install them) or Web Extensions already. This morning the Firefox Screenshots icon reappeared again. It is often missing. Today there are 10 icons instead of yesterdays initial 7.
