Making firefox default in windows 2012 roaming profiles

Dear All, Probably been answered but i cant find anything.

Basically we use 2012 RD servers. I would like to set Firefox as default browser within each users profile or at least have it save as default if user selects.

At this point within the roaming profile the browser setting is not being saved - is there a trick to make firefocx the default and for it to save against the profile?

Open Windows Internet Explorer. Have it declared as the default browser. But turn off the option to check this when the browser opens (If you want).

Now do the same thing using Firefox.

I can set it as default no worries.

Its just not saving within the 2012 profile.

On re-login IE is back to default

Note: Some software, like Advanced SystemCare with Surfing Protection, can protect files in the Firefox profile folder against changes. If you have such software then check the settings or uninstall this software.
