I am running with ubuntu 22.04.5 (linux)

I am trying to reduce the width of a panel which is on, say, firefox home. I can easily change the height of a panel (just put the mouse on the edge of the corner or top of the panel. However, when I put the mouse on the edge of either side of the panel nothing happens. I want to reduce the width of a panel and I cannot. Should add that the mouse turns into a resizing thing for all panel - it just doesn't work when trying to change width)

Thoughts?

I frequently use google image translate by taking screenshots and pasting them in the website. On chrome, I could grant it access to the clipboard on the first screenshot then not worry about it anymore. On firefox however, pressing ctrl + v first opens a context menu where I then have to click "paste" (or press p) every single time. It's getting annoying to have to go through this extra step. Is there a setting or add-on that would allow me to give a website full clipboard permissions like other browsers?

When I click the plus button to open a new tab, or press Ctrl+t I want the tab to open in a specific container. To have a default container so to say. Is this possible?

No matter what site I am using, youtube, or any other site that contains videos or audios, I cannot hear the sound when using Mozilla. I want to mention that there is no problem with my speakers because if I use Chrome on the same computer, the sound works. Can you help me?

After total crash to a black screen, when it rebooted, the display does not fill the screen. I have tried clicking the expand box on the top right corner. Everything is oversized and doesn't reduce by using Ctrl minus. Help

I have changed the fonts in preferences to my desired font and unchecked "Allow pages to choose their own fonts,...". After this, Firefox defaults to Noto Sans and other Noto * fonts. What would be problem and how can I fix this?

After the latest Firefox update, Subtitles and closed captions not saving settings in latest Firefox in spite of resets, reboots, clearing cache. Appears to be on Windows 11 but is fine in Windows 10.

Videos will not play in firefox. They will play in safari. I tried clearing cache and settings to allow websites to auto play video and sound. Nothing is working. It says I have the latest version of firefox. HELP!
