I don't want to use passkeys, and it seems that every site is checking browser support and wasting my time with passkey prompts before allowing me to log in with a password. How do I disable passkey support in Firefox?

I keep getting pop-ups in the right lower corner from "mozilla firefox" (not sure if they are legit). They will say: "zeus.2020 trojan detected" or "virus detected" or "system is infected", etc. All have "Mozilla Firefox" in the upper left of the pop-up, and "via rgfirewall.xyz" at the bottom. Is this truly legit, or is it just a nuisance? I've just been closing them with the x or dismiss buttons.

I have unsubscribed from all newsletter after receiving the first email but days later I'm still getting emails from Firefox (e.g. Superpower #4: See if your info has been leaked).

This is an incredibly bad user experience and to my knowledge illegal in the EU.

I'm probably still within that journey but the journey should terminate the moment I clicked unsubscribed.

I clicked on a link in an email and FF began opening it. It then stopped and gave a message that the site was causing FF to run slow. That was an understatement, as FF never continued and didn't fully open the site. I copied the URL to Chrome and it had no problem quickly opening the site. What do I need to fix in FF to make it happy again? I have been trying to get Firefox to clean up everything when I close it down,

It is so hard as if purposely a 1000 development team have worked on making it impossible.

When I close it down, it must be completely sanitised, no previous site visits, login names, passwords, suggestions - nothing.

And I should be able to achieve that with one button press, not have to go through a thousand individual settings.

I have now spent an hour checking and unchecking buttons, it is crazy. For example I go to the passwords, I have to delete each and every one individually. Maybe there is another screen somewhere, but when I want to interact with "Passwords" I naturally go to "Passwords".

And still, when I go to gmail, it autofills the gmail account! Where did that come from? I have spent an hour trying to make sure it deletes everything when it closes down.

And it should leave no trace on the PC. no temp files, nothing.

bsky.app cookie continues to be loaded on computer even after I continually delete it, privacy set to strict and blocked under "managed exceptions, why is it being reloaded when I don't access the site. None of the sites I access are linked to it, only visited once and if this alternative to x continues to set cookies, how can I permanently block it, thought the exceptions list was supposed to keep blocking it. So far it's come back three times, I'll screenshot it next time and attach.

My blog has started displaying the message, "Firefox can't open this page". The message also says, "To protect your security, accounts.google.com will not allow Firefox to display the page if another site has embedded it. To see this page, you need to open it in a new window." But opening it in a new window didn't work. I tried clearing the cache, and pasting the link into a new open tab, but neither helps. I tried opening it in Safari, and that works fine, so this seems to be a Firefox problem. Any suggestion?

Hello, I think I may have asked about this in the past but cannot recall if I received an answer. Under Settings, I get the message "Your browser is being managed by your organization." This is my home computer and is not being managed by any organization. When I click for more information, it gives me a screen with the following information:

Policy Name Certificates

Policy Value ImportEnterpriseRoots

                         true

If I could get more information on this suspected error, or how to correct it, that would be great. Thanks!

I am looking to turn on review checker and cannot see how to do it. I don't have the price tag icon displayed nor do I have any reference to Review Checker in my settings. I'm wondering if my version of Firefox supports it (133.0). Any ideas?

I have recently discovered that Firefox is constantly sending data at around 3KBytes/S to a variety of Cloudflare servers.

What is the data that is being sent and why is this happening?

This has started to occur in one of the last updates to Firefox.

As creator of retroonline.net. We recently noticed Firefox have limited value size in IDB which Chrome and Edge do not have. This limitation prevents big games running on Firefox despite Firefox has the best performance on WASM. Will there be a proper way to change this limitation or plan to remove it?

Attempting to upgrade and recommission an old HP laptop not used in several years. Currently running Firefox Version 41.0.1

Any queries to legitimate websites such as Google or Mozilla, return a "This Connection is Untrusted" display screen. Firefox security settings have been changed to lowest security, and problem persists.

It isn't that Firefox isn't reaching the websites... it's that some security setting recognizing the security certificates (like Mozilla's) is broken... and I can't get past it... even to be able to download a new browser version.

When I visit the web site virtueonline.org using Firefox browser, the Disqus comment section does not appear below articles on the site. Sometimes, when I go in and out of the article, the Disqus comment section will appear, but not always. When I use Microsoft Edge, the Disqus comment sections appear.

I have been watching YouTube for years, issue free. This week I was blocked, as my computer may be blocking ads and thus violating You Tubes policy. How can I find and disable ad block programs/ extensions, thus allowing me to get back on You tube. Hi I am a long time user of firefox because i love its customization and tools available to help me with my work and personal life. Recently i have been ordered to remove Firefox from the company laptop as it was deemed insecure by the IT and security department. I have been told to use MS edge and Google's Chrome. Their reasoning is "An inconsistent comparator in xslt/txNodeSorter could have resulted in potentially exploitable out-of-bounds access. Only affected version 122 and later. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 136 and Firefox ESR < 128.8." I do not know what this means. Is there something i can tell my IT department to argue against the directive to only use either Edge or Chrome. Best regards, F Silva

My password saved are deleted every time I close FF. It used to be manageable because Google and other sites didn't require me to fill my passwords (cookies did the trick I suppose) but now I also loose access to gmail and Youtube every time I close FF. It's annoying to have to use 2FA every damn time. And keeping the passwords available.

I've tried every answer I found by looking around :

- tried to start in safe mode - disable hardware acceleration - I have no extensions

FF saves the passwords correctly (at least they appear in the saved password tab) but they are erased every time I restart FF. The cookies aren't automatically deleted (FF remembers my browsing history) but I need to relog into Google.

I getting frustrated.
