My firefox extensions are not showing up in my toolbar. I've tried everything I've seen, turning on Private Browsing, checking the customize tab, removing Ublock Origin, but nothing has changed and they are still not there. Help!

I am getting errors from online web forms that tell me I must have JavaScript enabled to continue, but when I check about:config, it shows Enable JavaScript to be True?? Is there some reason why this may happen, or do I just need to use a better browser?? Thanks in advance!!

• When I try to print a webpage using Firefox, the page enlarges 4x and therefore I only get 1/4 of the webpage on an 8.5 x 11 sheet. If I change my browser to Chrome or IE, it prints correctly. If I scroll to the bottom of the Firefox Print Dialog window and select "Print using system dialog" it also works correctly.
• I have the zoom set to 100 and the Print Dialog paper size set to Letter, It is set to print to page width, I tried it with Scale 100 but it didn't help. I also went to about: config and checked that the paper size and scaling were set to 1.
• The the picture of the Print Preview looks exactly like should be when printed, but when it is sent to the Lexmark S505 printer the size is too large.

Since I print 50-100 individual webpages a week, I cannot use Firefox if this can't be corrected.

Firefox 94.0.1 (64-bit) ~ Windows 7 ~ No anti-virus except Windows Defender ~ No new extensions installed that haven't already been operating for weeks or longer.

Suddenly, after doing NOTHING except restarting my computer, my 'minimize', 'maximize', 'restore' and 'close' buttons are missing.

Any 'solutions' I've looked up talk about "Tablet Mode" (which I highly doubt I'm in) or other nonsense, the options for which either didn't exist when I opened suggested menus, or were simply techno-jargon-gobbledy-gook.

I doubt it's anything to do with Windows, since 'Waterfox', 'Microsoft Edge', 'Chrome' and other browsers all have their buttons intact.

When I opened Firefox in 'troubleshoot mode' the buttons were back. But nobody in those unhelpful 'help articles' said what to do after opening in troubleshoot mode, so I closed it, opened Firefox the usual way again, and the buttons were still missing.

Some logical, properly explained help would be greatly appreciated.

I chose lavender as the background color, but I hate it. It has changed all my links to lavender and I want to go back to the default settings before I added the lavender. I want the default settings before the Colorways options were made available.

Even though I have figured out how to change the themes, the lavender color is still present in certain words. I want it to go. I want what I had before I added the lavender theme.

I have looked at the articles, but I cannot find an option that says "go back to what you had before" or "undo" or "restore default settings". I'm possibly missing a step. Don't know. I'm frustrated that I can add something so easily, but not get rid of it so easily.

Please help me restore my back ground colors to pre-Colorways add-on lavender. I have a Mac OS High Sierra 10.13.6.

For some reason, sometimes in minutes and other times hours, my bookmarks keep duplicating. Often a duplicate shows up under the original bookmark as well as A-E alphabetically duplicating at the natural end of the bookmarks, i.e. after the last (Z) alphabetical bookmark. I deleate the duplicates and they come back within minutes. I logged out of sync but still have duplicates forming. How do I stop this?

In playing stream video with closed caption in FireFox browser, Closed-Caption is displaying in reversed order.

for example, If Actors says "Hi everybody, <Line Feed> I'm gonna give you one of my favorite"

Firefox browser's closed caption shows this way. Old caption is located below. "I'm gonna give you one of my favorite <Line Feed> Hi everybody, "

Chrome browser or other browser don't have same problem. works well.

This morning all of my tabs from the previous Firefox session were lost. When I tried to restore the session, I'm seeing that this option is not available from any of the menus. My preferences haven't changed, so I don't know why the tabs were lost when I closed the session last night, to begin with. I'm running 94.01 on Mac OS Mojave 10.14.6.

Firefox giving following error,

Websites prove their identity via certificates. Firefox does not trust this site because it uses a certificate that is not valid for 192.168.1.100. The certificate is only valid for the following names: anishamsi.lan:6659, 192.168.1.100:6659, 192.168.1.100, anishamsi.lan

I can see the url is there as listed by firefox error itself (verify with screenshot 1), the url is "https://192.168.1.100/api/validateLogin"

What is the error, i have created the certificate correctly. i am sure this is a bug in firefox?? If not!!! how u suggest i fix this i have added following alt names inside my csr. DNS.1 =anishamsi.lan:6659 DNS.2 =192.168.1.100:6659 DNS.3 =192.168.1.100 I have already uploaded the certificate at names screenshot.

Hi. Since a few days ago, whenever I tried to download a statement, I would get the error msg "Bad Request - Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit".

Now, I can't even access the login page for RBC!!!

With Safari, I have no problems at all accessing the site or downloading statements!

I use windows speech recognition (not dictation, different thing) when my wrists are acting up, but firefox always immediately turn unresponsive when i turn it on. i can't switch tabs or interact at all with the browser. Are there solutions for this? If my wrists were slightly worse i would probably just stop using firefox :[

The new version of Mozilla Firefox that auto installed this morning has not migrated my logins or bookmarks. I see the old Firefox folder on my desktop, but don't know how to get the old data into the new Firefox.

I cannot create a new login when I try I get this error message "An error occurred while trying to save this password". Whenever I open a new site and am asked if I want to save the password I click yes. When I check the logins/passwords on FF it's empty. I found someone else had this same issue and tried what was suggested and it did not work for me. I really need to save several passwords. This is quite frustrating. Help!

I opted in to Rally a couple of months ago. I recently decided to stop and , I thought, removed myself from the two panels I had been on. Currently, when I switch apps, a Rally screen pops up begging me to install Rally. How can I cleanly remove my self from the program? I have nothing against the idea of Rally. I just want to stop participating. Thanks, Greg Schultz

I may have had a system crash, but in any case I lost all my logins saved in my Firefox for Windows (the most recent version). I still have all of my bookmarks and history, etc., but no saved logins. Is there a way to restore these? (perhaps from some back-up file in the firefox folders?).

I recently changed jobs and my old work email address is now closed. I had originally created the account using my personal gmail account, but changed the primary email to my old work email. Now I cannot create a new Firefox Sync account using my personal gmail since it is tied to this defunct Sync account. I can log in with the email and password, but it won't let me change any settings with my account without a verification code. I called a friend at my old work and there is no way for them to temporarily reactivate my email account.

Is there any way that I can get this account deleted without the verification code? I don't care if the data is lost. I wanted to start over from scratch anyways. I can view my profile data through the support page, but when I click on the delete account option, it continues to ask for the verification code. If there is a way on the back end to completely delete it, I would appreciate it.

First hint this morning was when FVD SpeedDial only showed the default set of dials instead of the several hundreds that it should. On checking, every extension with user settable variable has returned to the state it is in when first installed. Slowly working through fixing them but I'd like to know why they went on the fritz and any way to avoid going through the same pain again.
