Hi, I'm wondering whether it is possible to change "snippets" on the firefox homepage? For example I would like to set default snippet (that would not change) to either my custom snippet or to one chosen snippet from https://snippets.mozilla.com/ (for example the one named ongoing-features-en). I'm guessing it has something to the with about:config value of browser.aboutHomeSnippets.updateUrl but I'm not sure what values should I set to achieve the results. I am using Firefox 14.0.1 I am trying to update Adobe Acrobat plugin. After clicking "Update" it redirects me to https://www.mozilla.org/ru/plugincheck/ and all that I see then is this nasty progress indicator which spins forever: https://mozorg.cdn.mozilla.net/media/img/plugincheck/loader.fe452cc55e9c.gif

Nothing happens.

Please, don't even tell me to update Firefox itself. If pluginchek page does not support my browser, it must say explicitly "You browser is not supported anymore". That's it. If it supports Firefox 14.0.1 — then it shouldn't show that infinite progress indicator.

Hello, DELL DIMENSION XPS E-520 (2007) WINDOWS XP HOME SP 3 FIREFOX 14.0.1 AVAST! 2014.9.0.2021 THUNDERBIRD version 2.0.0.24 (20100228) EPSON WF 545 – ALL UP-TO-DATE

I need to upgrade Firefox and Thunderbird but recently have spent xs time troubleshooting an auto FF upgrade to 38.05 on another DELL (VOSTRO LAPTOP - WIN XP PRO SP 3 U-T-D) especially in regards to printing.

This PC is old, and used a lot. so, I REALLY WANT the browser to be streamlined and tried / used and stable.

Is there a FF 20.x I could try? I realize the security risks I may be subject to but I'm also aware of time used to T-shoot…. Avast! is good and up-to-date

I also read here: “Software bloat -- 3 Alternatives to software bloat” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Software_bloat#Alternatives_to_software_bloat that FF is included as an UN-bloated example. PLEASE ADVISE!

If I upgrade the XPS E520 to FF 20.X, can I reverse it?

The menu represented by a 3 lines icon, usually located at the right corner of the window, disappeared and I need it back! It gave access to a bunch of stuff like book marks, tools, extentions and other very helpful shortcuts. I'm not technical at all and need my 3 line icon back. Can anyone please help?

Clicking on the button on wanderu to find out the basic information the site is supposed to provide results in an infinite loop in Mozilla but not Chrome. Please fix this.

Am trying to delete text within an email I have received before sending email on. I select the content I am wanting to remove, I press delete, but the whole email is deleted instead of just the text I have selected. Can someone help please.

Lately when I open Firefox, a dialog box comes up informing me that I should upgrade. But when I press install what I get is a process that goes on and on and never ends. I have had this happen several times and each time I have ended up closing the box and ending the process. This concerns me because I fear that at some point my version of Firefox will be so old that it will cease functioning. What can I do to insure that the newest version is installed. I have a Mac Book with OS 10.6.8.

My laptop connects to the internet using a 3G cellphone/mobile. When I am connecting in this way is there any way to get Firefox desktop (windows) to request the mobile version of a website in order to save bandwidth?

I'm currently using Firefox 14.0.1 (can't update to the latest mac OS so stuck with it), and while every other website I regularly use has been working fine, Facebook just within the last twelve hours has just started coming up like this http://i.imgur.com/5uKhXAX.png

I've not been having this problem with either Chrome or Safari and I've tried disabling all addons and all that is usually recommended for this situation and nothing's been working.

just this week I can not get on facebook and several other sites. this error message keeps coming up and I've tried the suggestions, but it's not allowing me to get on. I can get on with Explorer, but it's much slower.

I get popups about needing to update version and some add ons are expired. I would like to stop these I can't up date. I've downloaded myself and I get the file is corrupt a lot of hours for nothing tried several times downloaded from the library and it said the same thing so Il just keep the version that came with corel word perfect. When I try to update the add ons I get the same thing plus my machine gets messed up again I'll just stay with what is there. Please stop the popups they are very annoying whe I know there is nothing I can do about it. Thank you very much rloree@netzero.net
